New Mexico Rail Runner Express Extends Service for Memorial Day Weekend

Train Will Run on Sunday and Monday of Holiday Weekend

(Albuquerque, NM - May 7, 2009) - To kick off the unofficial start of the summer season, the New Mexico Rail Runner Express will extend its operating hours to include Sunday and Monday service for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.

“We have had a number of requests from people wanting to use the train on Sundays,” said Rael.  “With the opening of the New Mexico History Museum and several other events taking place throughout the corridor, this was an ideal time to give it a try and see how well our extended service is utilized.”
