Introductory Run for NM Rail Runner Express
to Lobo Football Game working so well that it continues for
this Saturday’s game!
( “We’re very excited about
how well this past Saturday’s introductory run worked out for those
who decided to avoid the hassle of parking and use the train and
shuttle to get to the game”, says Lawrence Rael, Executive Director
for the Mid-Region Council of Governments. “This was a great
opportunity to see how this set-up will work for future events at
the University, as well as events at Albuquerque Isotopes Stadium.”
While
the new platform is not a regular stop on the Rail Runner route, it
will be available to provide a valuable transportation alternative
for those wanting to attend events in the university corridor, and
avoid the hassle of finding parking. The Lobo Special Events Platform is located on Every home Lobo football game has a different
