Rail Runner tickets now available on-line! Timesaver Alert: Purchase and Print your train ticket before leaving your house! Info on buying tickets on-line (Albuquerque, 6-25-07) Commuters can now go on-line to purchase and print their tickets to ride on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express. All it takes is a credit card, a computer, and a printer. “This is just another element of service that we want to offer customers to make their Rail Runner experience easier”, says Lawrence Rael, Executive Director for the Mid-Region Council of Governments. “Being able to purchase Rail Runner tickets online will give commuters a few extra minutes in the morning if they don’t have to buy them at the station.”, adds Rael. Rail Runner ticket-buyers can log onto nmrailrunner.com and click on “Tickets”. From there, they will be directed to follow a simple process that allows them to purchase a one-way ticket, a day pass or a monthly or annual pass for the dates they desire, and print it out right at home. “Rail Runner’s use of web-purchased tickets will allow it to streamline payment transactions, as well as improve passenger service and satisfaction”, says Rhonda Faught, Secretary of the NM Department of Transportation. “And for the user, the site is secure so they can feel safe about using their credit card on-line.” Ticket-buyers will be asked for some basic information when they go on-line to make their purchase:
