Phase II Environmental Assessment ready for Public Review
Rail Runner Phase II on track to go to Santa Fe by end of
2008!
(Albuquerque, 8-14-07) The Environmental Assessment (EA) has been
officially released for public review by the Federal Highway
Administration, the New Mexico Department of Transportation and the
Mid-Region Council of Governments.
The Environmental Assessment for
Phase II is an important step in providing public transportation
service for the City of Santa Fe and residents of Santa Fe County”,
says Lawrence Rael, Executive Director for the Mid-Region Council of
Governments. “This public hearing will allow people to learn more
about the project, while providing us with important feedback –
particularly as it relates to the Phase II Rail Runner corridor.”
The Environmental Assessment
will be the subject of a Public Hearing in Santa Fe next week:
