Rio Metro will make every effort to return lost property left on buses or trains if turned in. Rio Metro is not responsible for items left behind. Lost and found is a courtesy, and we will make every effort to get items that have been turned in back to their owners.
If You Lost an Item
Found items are turned in to the appropriate office.
Non-essential items are held for 30 days.
Essential items, such as keys, IDs, wallets, phones, purses, etc. are held for 90 days.
When you call, please provide a detailed description of the lost property.
Recovered property must be picked up the appropriate administrative office (see below).
To claim recovered property, please have a valid state issued ID.
